About me

I've always been fascinated by human behaviour and design. With a 2:1 degree in History and History of Art from Edinburgh University, specialising in the intersection of psychiatry and art, I have enjoyed exploring the complexities of the human mind and its creative expressions.

One medium that captivated me was film and TV. After university, I pursued traditional draughtsmanship and found my place in the art department. Here, I empathised with characters, understood their motivations, and brought their stories to life through compelling visual experiences.

Despite my love for the creative aspects of film and TV, I felt a growing disconnect between my passions and professional pursuits. Enter UX Research and Design—the perfect blend of my interests in human behaviour and design!

At the beginning of 2023, I pivoted into UX, completing an intensive UX Design course where I explored a spectrum of qualitative research methods and honed my design skills in Figma across five projects. This experience solidified my passion for both qualitative research and UX design, and I haven't looked back since.

Now, I am fully immersed in qualitative research and UX design, uncovering insights, and crafting user-centric solutions that truly resonate. This journey has allowed me to draw on my diverse background in history, design, and storytelling to create impactful experiences for users.

Outside of my professional work, I engage in activities like swing dancing, painting, and travelling, which continually inspire my creativity and broaden my perspective.

Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I’m excited to connect, collaborate, and continue crafting meaningful experiences!
