Key Skills

Empathy

I've always been deeply interested in human behaviour. I studied the history of psychology at university and continue to expand my knowledge through psychology books and podcasts. This interest in understanding human behaviour also fuels my fascination with reality shows like Love Island—they offer a unique lens into human interactions and motivations (or at least that’s my excuse).

Creativity

I possess experience in both traditional and digital design realms, ranging from traditional draughtsmanship for film sets to crafting wireframes and prototypes in Figma. Drawing and painting have been lifelong passions of mine, which I continue to pursue in my free time. You can explore my artwork at: chloeallen.co

Research

With a background in researching for film and TV, I've honed my skills in historical, cultural, and prop-specific investigations. Additionally, I bring valuable UX research experience to the table. I find joy in analysing and synthesising information, a skill set that extends seamlessly into crafting affinity maps—a pivotal aspect of my UX research process!

My Approach

My approach is adaptable, tailored to the specific demands of each project and whether I'm primarily focused on research or design. Typically, the urgency to implement solutions swiftly dictates an iterative agile methodology as the preferred approach.

In research-centric roles, my efforts often revolve around the discovery and definition phases within four-week sprints. Each cycle concludes with comprehensive reports, ensuring that insights are effectively communicated and actionable for the team.
